Struan Complin

Complin Struan Complin, age 96, of Hillsboro Beach, FL, formerly of Minnetonka, Edina, and South, Minneapolis, MN, passed away May 14, 2005. Born in Perry Sound, Ontario on August 4, 1908. He moved to the US to teach figure skating. After that he worked for his father-in-law at Bankers Equipment Service and later took over and expanded the business. He enjoyed gardening and served as a president of the Men's Garden Club for Richfield. He always enjoyed playing cars, and after retiring he took up skiing and sailing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Lavelle Complin. Survived by son, Douglas and wife Mary Beth; grandchildren, Andrea Welter, Christine Fobbe, Suzy Fobbe, Jennifer Welter, Megan Complin and Daniel Complin; and 9 great-grandchildren. Memorial service Monday, May 23, 10 AM at Gill Brothers Funeral Chapel, 5801 Lyndale Ave. S., Minneapolis. Visitation from 9 AM until the time of the service.
