Fust Mary Evangeline (Van) Fust, age 98. Born November 13, 1904, Northome, MN., in a log cabin. Died May 29, 2003, at home in Chanhassen. Widow of William J. Fust, Sr. of the Minneapolis Fire Dept. Beloved mother, sister, grandmother and aunt who knew the meaning of unconditional love which she shared generously. Preceded in death by husband, parents and 8 brothers. Survived by sister, Anne Jandro, Mpls; daughter, Mary Ella and husband Denis Stedman, Orlando, FL.; sons, William J. Fust, Jr., Isle; Charles Fust, Plymouth; Robert Fust and wife Kathy Stephens, Oakland, CA; granddaughters, Eileen Mack and Anne Hartman; grandsons, James Fust, Timothy Stedman, Michael Fust, Anthony Stedman, Robert Fust, Jr., Denis Stedman, Jr. and Paul Fust; great- grandchildren, Sarah Jacobs, Carrie, Tom and Tony Mack; David, Erin, Aimee, Holly, Morgan and Ryan Fust; Christopher and Sophia Hartman; Kaylan and Mary Kathleen Stedman, and namesake Lucy Van Stedman born March 27, 2003; step grandchildren, John Rioux and Tonya Stephens; great-great- grandchildren, Tyler and Haley Jacobs, Maria Vernier; goddaughter Elaine Jandro, and all of her much-loved nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Thursday at the Church of St Hubert, 8201 Main St., Chanhassen. Int. Gethsemane. Visitation Wed 5-8 PM with 7 PM prayer service at Gearty Delmore Park Chapel, Wooddale and Excelsior Blvd., St Louis Park. Visitation also after 10 AM Thurs. at church.
