Peltier (LaCasse) Helen E., age 80, born in Centerville and died at home in Brooklyn Center on May 4, 2003 after a courageous 1 1/2 year battle with lung cancer. She is survived by 4 children, Roger (Donna), Douglas (Barbara), Mary Jo (Al) Piramoon and Joseph (Joy); 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 3 sisters, Dorothy (Richard) Revord, Beatrice Gale and Louise Hughes; aunt, Helen LeMay, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband, Lawrence; son, John; parents, John & Flora LaCasse and siblings, John, Evelyn, Agnes, Emma, Teles and Herman. In addition to raising 5 children after the death of her husband, Helen will best be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She will also be remembered for her strength, both physical and spiritual, and her many interests and talents. The family thanks the staff of North Memorial Hospice for their months of assistance. Service Monday, June 2, 10:30 am at the Church of the Resurrection, 7600 Humboldt Ave N., Brooklyn Park. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to service on Monday at the church, and Sunday, 5-7 pm at: Washburn-McReavy Columbia Heights Chapel 41st & Central Ave NE 763-789-4436
