Sieg, Kenneth Michael age 79, a caring, kind and generous husband, dad and grandpa will be deeply missed by those who were blessed to know him. Ken died peacefully in Fridley, MN on Dec. 2, 2014. Ken was born in Sleepy Eye, MN. Ken enjoyed hunting, auctions, going to the cabin, spending time with his family, puzzles, trips to Duluth, bird watching and chasing squirrels away. He was known for his sense of humor and work ethic, and was a respected employee of Burlington Northern Railroad for 41 years. In addition, he also roofed houses for over 30 years. Ken is survived by his wife, Sharon (Haltli) of 51 years; son, Robert (Janice); daughter, Carleen (Greg) Moser; grandchildren, Morgan, Noel, Tony and Sarah; sisters, Mildred (Norman) Taylor, Bernette Sieg, Carol Sieg and Judy Athmann (Jim Hopkins); brother-in-law, Linus Weiss; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Mary; brothers, Frederick, Leo and Eugene; sisters, Monica Weiss, Rita Kleis and Mary Knickerbocker. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 AM Sat., Dec. 6 with visitation one hour prior at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 825 2nd Ave NW, New Brighton. Interment Hillside.
