Smith Jane I. age 84, of Golden Valley passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, May 12, 2003. She is survived by: husband, Russell; four daughters, Peggy (Ken) Charles of Boise, Idaho, Julie Chamberlain of Golden Valley, Robin Smith of Golden Valley, Lori (Chuck) Herrig of East Bethel; eight grandchildren, Kimberly (Tom) Byrne, Lee Charles, Rick Charles, Jill Krueger, Jay (Jennifer) Chamberlain, Brian Herrig, Joel Herrig, and Matt Herrig; four great-grandchildren, Christopher and Laurie Byrne, Katie and Benjamin Krueger; brother, Dr. Leland D. (Betty) Peterson; sisters, Donna Hanson and Merrie (Dean) O' Brien; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services on Tues. May 20, 2003, 2:00 pm at Stanchfield Baptist Church, Stanchfield, MN. Interment will be at the Stanchfield Baptist Cemetery. Rock Mankie Funeral Home 320-396-2121
