Lorrayne Fay Anderson

Anderson, Lorrayne Fay Age 90, of Minneapolis, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2014. Preceded in death by parents and two brothers. Survived by cousins and friends. Lorrayne attended Macalester College and earned a B.S and M.S from the University of Minnesota. She worked in Nutrition and Dietetics at Barnes Hospital, St. Louis, MO, Abbott Hospital and U of M Hospitals. She held elective office in the Minnesota Dietetic Association, American Association of University Women-Minneapolis Branch, and was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church where she served as a Deacon and Trustee. Lorrayne was an amazing person with a wide variety of interests. She enjoyed her friends, Guthrie Theater, Minnesota Orchestra, Plymouth Church, Minnesota Twins and U of M Gopher sports. Kudos to Mary Arbisi, AAUW friends, Kay Mickelson, Brian & Lynn Weist, staff & friends at the Kenwood Apartments. Special thanks to the Allina Hospice group. At her request there will be no services. Memorials preferred to Plymouth Congregational Church or Macalester College.
