Pitts, George A., Jr. Age 76, of Andover, MN, died peace-fully at home surrounded by his loved ones on Nov. 17, 2014. He leaves behind his wife of 51 years, Kathleen; daughters Elissa and Adrienne (Brian); grandchildren Brandon, Kramer, Travis, Max and Rachel; siblings Barbara and Ruth and several nieces, nephews and close friends. George was preceded in death by parents George and Florence, sister June and brother Richard. George was a loyal husband, wonderful provider and beloved grandpa. He enjoyed fishing, camping and canoeing in the BWCA. He was a Vikings and Gophers fan and enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events, gardening and spending time with family and friends. He was an Army veteran and active union member while working as a welder at FMC for 30 years. He will be missed by all who knew him. Private memorial service to be held at a later date.
