Thompson, Doris (Iverson-Meyers) age 80, New Hope, died Nov. 14, 2014. Born in rural Osakis in 1934, one of 8 children born to Robert and Louise Iverson. A 1952 graduate of North High School, she married Gerald Meyers in 1955 and together raised 7 children until Jerry's death in 1979. She married Thomas Thompson in 1982 and shared combined families and grandchildren for 23 years. Survived by children, Teresa (Tim) Bauernfeind; Liz (Bob) Krocak; Frank Meyers; Joe (Dawn) Meyers; Peter (Patti) Meyers; Ruth (Jay) Picha; Rachel ( Doug) Wheeler; 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Also survived by step-children Dennis (Annie) Thompson; Jim (Laurie) Thompson; John (Mary) Thompson; Judy (Steve) Lally and families; sister, Marilyn (Earl) Williams; brothers, Bruce (Jim Garza) Iverson and Roger (Carla) Iverson and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by 2 husbands, her parents, siblings, Joann Jones, Bob Iverson, Lionel Iverson, Norma Rosecrans and granddaughter Jessica Nutter. A Memorial Luncheon will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Plymouth Creek Center, 14800 34th Ave, Plymouth MN. Gathering at 1:00 pm. Memorial Service at 1:30 with luncheon to follow. Arrangements by Cremation Society of MN.
