Erick K. Christiansen

Christiansen Erick K. "Chris", age 85, of Richfield formerly of Slayton, MN died peacefully May 10, 2003 in his home surrounded by his family. Erick is survived by his wife of 60 years, Evelyn; son, Tom; daughter, Linda. Preceded in death by his parents, Johan & Elissa; and brother, Martin. Also survived by his sister, Astrid; and brothers, Regner and Holger; their families and friends. He was a WW II veteran, long time employee of Lehman's Garage, master craftsman, woodworker and a genius at story-telling and one-liners. Visitation Tuesday, 6-8 pm, at Woodlake Lutheran Church, 7525 Oliver Ave S. Memorial service Wednesday, May 14, at 11 am at the church with a lunch following the service. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Richfield Community Center, 7000 Nicollet Ave, 55423, Woodlake Lutheran Church or donor's favorite charity.
