Tromborg Erik T., age 77, of Bloomington, passed away May 9, 2003. Preceded in death by father, Rev. Kristian; mother, Laura; sister, Astri; and grandson, Jacob. Survived by wife, Evelyn; children, Trudy (Peter) Obermeyer, Craig (Lynn); grandchildren, Maren, Joseph, Annika, Isaac, Elizabeth and Marshall. Erik was born in India to missionary parents and immigrated to the US at age 19. He married Evelyn Swedberg on May 4, 1952 in St. Paul and became part of her large, loving family. Erik retired from a career as an engineer at Honeywell, had a life-long love of trains and currently was on the board of the St. Croix Railroad Club. Erik will be remembered and cherished for his deep commitment to his family, church and friends. Memorials preferred to World Mission Prayer League and the Salvation Army. Interment Sunset Memorial Park. Funeral service Friday 11 AM at Atonement Lutheran Church, 601 E. 98th St., Bloomington.
