Kris Torsen

Torsen Kris, passed from this life on April 25. Pre deceased by parents, Kristen E. Torsen Sr. & Alice Wakenshaw Torsen. Survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy; cherished stepchildren, Mary (Steve) Fecher, Mike (Patty) Krueger; dearly loved grandchildren, Daniel, Elizabeth and Christopher Krueger; along with many other family, friends and cherished pets. Kris was a volunteer and transported cancer patients for treatments for the American Cancer Society. He also delivered food to shut-ins, and served food at the homeless shelter for Samaritan House. He was an active supporter of Boys Town, Peninsula Humane Society. He was a WWII veteran and a member of AARP. He took great pride and enjoyment in his yard work. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service Monday, April 29, 2002 at 6 pm at O'Connell Chapel, 1311 El Camino in San Mateo, CA.
