Fevig Kirsti, 75, of Tulaby Lake, rural Waubun, MN, died 4/13/02 at Fargo, ND. Kirsti Kjearsgaard was born 6/25/1926 in Gussum, Denmark. She immigrated to Canada in 1933. She graduated from the Dickson Alberta High School in 1946 and the Canadian Lutheran Bible Institute, Camrose, Alberta in 1948. She served as a parish worker in the Lutheran Church in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and Edmonton, Alberta. On 6/15/1956, Kirsti married Loren Fevig at Edmonton. They lived in Moorhead and Minneapolis until 6/18/1961. They moved to Swan River, Manitoba where they remained until 1965. They moved to Oslo, Park Rapids, Long Prairie and Glyndon, MN, serving several Lutheran Churches. In 1993, they retired and moved to Tulaby Lake. Among survivors are husband, Loren; daughters, Karen (Brad) Schuster, Grand Forks, ND, Kari (Kerry) Ward, Maple Grove, MN and Kathy (Timothy) Sproul, Arden Hills, MN; son, Jonathan (Rhonda) Fevig, Ulen, MN; six grandchildren. Funeral service 10:30 am Sat., April 20 at Bethlehem Luth. Church, Ulen, MN. Visitation Fri., April 19, 5-7 pm with a Service of Remembrance at 7 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, Waubun.
