Rosemary Martin Bailey, age 84, a longtime resident of Elk River, MN, died April 16, 2002 at Guardian Angels on the Lake, Elk River. Through 61 years of marriage, she was an intensely loyal and loving friend and mate to John Hastings Bailey, who preceded her in death. A devoted mother and grandmother, she is survived by son, John M. Bailey & wife Patty of Wayzata; daughter, Jean E. Bailey Healy & husband Michael of Worland, WY; grandchildren, Kiki Bailey Coles & husband Curtis of Denver, CO, Michelle ``Mimi'' Bailey Stender & husband Thomas of Duluth, Daniel John ``D.J.'' and Brian Patrick Healy of Worland, WY; great-grandchildren, John Bruce ``J.B.'' and Bailey Andrea Stender, Chloe Pomona Coles and beloved in-laws, Elizabeth ``Libby'' & Dr. John Watson of Medford, OR, Albert & Marlyce Bailey of Elk River, Charles & Ann Bailey of Plymouth; many devoted nieces & nephews. Service of Thanksgiving & Remembrance Friday, April 19 at 1 pm, Union Congregational Church, 1118 4th St. NW, Elk River. Visitation Thursday, 4-7 pm, Dare's Funeral Home, 805 Main St., Elk River.
