McSherry Hugh I., age 74, of Shoreview, on April 15, 2002. Survived by loving wife of 41 years, Kit; children, Brigid (Bill) McSherry-Scherer, Chip (Susan), Kathleen (Chris) Huntington, Brendan (Jennifer), Maureen (Jeremy) Trapp; grandchildren, Brendan, Rory, Ally, Molly, Kylie, Keegan, Cade, Macallan, Colin, Connor, Callaghan, Cameron, Liam and Colton; brothers, Al (Renee) and John (Karen); sister, Ruby (Donald) Iverson. Hugh had a generosity of spirit, always taking care of others. He had a unique sense of humor and an unending depth of compassion. Hugh loved and was loved. He is with us always. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Thursday at ST. ODILIA CATHOLIC CHURCH, 3495 N. Victoria, Shoreview. A gathering of family and friends will be held 4-8 PM Wednesday (prayer service 7 PM) at HOLCOMB-HENRY-BOOM NORTH CHAPEL, 515 Hwy. 96 at Mackubin, Shoreview and at the church on Thurs. from 9:30 AM until time of service. Interment at Fort Snelling. Memorials preferred. 651-482-7606
