Irene F. Wegner

Wegner Irene F., age 89, of Shorewood, died Friday, April 12, 2002. She was born April 6, 1913 in Brainerd, MN to Swan and Freda Anderson and was united in marriage to Delos (Dan) Wegner in 1934. They lived in South Minneapolis where they owned and operated Wegner's Meat Market on Lake Street for over 20 years. Following the death of her husband in 1969, she also lived in St. Croix Falls, WI, Maple Grove and Excelsior. She is survived by two sons, Carl (Jillaine) Wegner, Grand Rapids, MN and Roy (Jenny) Wegner, Excelsior, MN; 5 grandchildren, Brett, Charlene, Eric, Brian & Andrea; and 5 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Dan Wegner; two brothers, Arnold and Ivar.
