Anderson Myrtle Belle Anderson of Minneapolis, went home to be with the Lord on April 9, 2002. Myrtle was born on October 1, 1922 in Homerville, GA to Lee Owen and Golie Mae Autrey (Roe). She served her country during WWII through her work in the Naval Munitions Plant in Macon, GA. Following marriage in 1946, Myrtle moved to Cloquet, MN and subsequently to the north side of Minneapolis, where she was a long-time resident. Myrtle was a very active member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church for many years. Preceded in death by husband, Raymond and grandson, Peter Christian Anderson. Myrtle is survived by her loving family: sisters, Leola Fann of Alma, GA, Mildred Pike of Valdosta, GA, Margaret Smith of Toccoa, GA; sister-in-law, Evelyn Anderson; daughter, Sandy (Rod) Morgan of Fifty Lakes, MN; son, Rick (Nancy) Anderson of Circle Pines, MN; son, Paul (Joan) of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; grandchildren, Lisa and Laura Anderson of Minnesota and Natalie Anderson of Ohio. Calling hours will be held from 5-8 pm on Monday, April 15, 2002 at the Washburn-McReavy Swanson Chapel, 1600 Lowry Ave N., Mpls. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 10 am on Tuesday, April 16, 2002 with Pastor Mark Borseth presiding. Also, viewing will be one hour prior to the service.
