Rud Merlyn Donald, born Nov. 20, 1927 in Swift County, Kerkhoven, MN, to Cornell G. Rud & Mabel O. (Hagen) Rud. Married Marlotte A. Donner June 28, 1950, lived in Willmar and worked for Great Northern Railroad until 1960. Moved to Mpls. worked at Burlington Northern Railroad until 1989. Died April 9, 2002. Preceded in death by wife, ``Marlie''; parents, Cornell & Mabel Rud; brother, Clifford; sister-in-law, Violet; and brother-in-law, Marvin Miller. Survived by daughter, Holly (Allan) Kostecka; grandsons, Kevin and Chad Kostecka; daughter, Cindy (Gary) Richmond; granddaughter, Kara Richmond; and grandson, Derek Richmond; sisters, Verna Miller and Vera (Ruben) Hoglund; also several nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday beginning at 4 pm ending with service at 7 pm at the Washburn-McReavy Northeast Chapel, 29th & Johnson St. NE, Mpls. Interment Friday 12 noon at Cloverleaf Cemetery, Willmar, MN.
