Brough, Joseph Kenneth age 74 of Blaine, MN passed away 11/13/14 while vacationing in San Diego, CA. Born and raised in Rochester, MN, obtained a Master's Degree +60 in music from the U of M, and married Margaret Vrieze of Eyota, MN July 17, 1961. A devoted husband for 53 years, his soul will be with Margaret forever. He was a choir teacher at Lourdes High School in Rochester for 4 years and Brooklyn Center High School for 34 years. With energy, patience, and the ability to work with all, he created a bond that impacted countless students throughout his professional career. He was passionate about flying, sailing, fishing, motorcycling, piano tuning, choral judging, playing numerous musical instruments in numerous bands, and weekly volunteering at Manna Market. Survived by wife Margaret; sons Joseph S. (Angela) and Tony (Denise); daughter Michelle (Mark); grandchildren Christine, Joseph J., Ellen, Wes, Sabrina, and Casey; sister Doris Kroll and brother Jim. Celebration of his Life will be held Sun. Dec. 7th, from 1pm-5pm at Bunker Hills Activities Center, 550 Bunker Lake Blvd NW, Andover, MN. Feel free to bring an instrument, song, or memory to share.
