Francis J. Mengelkoch

Mengelkoch Francis J., 90, passed away at home on May 5, 2003 while surrounded by family. Survived by daughters, Virginia Gesen (Thomas) of Payson, AZ and Jeanne Somers of Phoenix, AZ; son, Paul (Sandra) of Phoenix, AZ; and sister, Beatrice Jordan of Plymouth, MN. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Wilda and son, Robert. Grandchildren include Mark Corbett (Karen), Tom Corbett (Jean), Michelle Denuit (Rene), Janet Schwappach, Charles Schwappach (Ericka), and Andrea Chaira (Abe), all of Phoenix, AZ; Stephen Schwappach, Minneapolis, MN; Roger Schwappach (Mary), Elk River, MN; step-grandchildren, Heather Newell-Peterson and Donna Newell; and 15 great-grandchildren. An avid Arizona Diamondbacks fan, Francis lost his final game in extra innings. Services were held on Friday, May 9, 2003 at 10 AM at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 5045 E. Thomas Rd., Phoenix, AZ.
