Jean B. Lidenberg, age 87, formerly of Fargo, ND, passed away April 6. Preceded in death by 1 brother, Norman Barry, and sister, Opal Blue. Survived by her son, Rodney D. Lidenberg of Eden Prairie, her daughter-in-law, Diane Lidenberg & her three grandchildren, Willie, Sam & Matt; brother, Keith Barry; and sister, Loraine Ourin, both of Grand Forks, ND. Jean was born to Alex and Iva Barry on August 21, 1914, in Lakota, ND. As a young girl, she made her home in Grand Forks, attending high school & business college in Grand Forks. She was married to Alvin Lidenberg on June 26, 1947. The couple then moved to Fargo, ND, where their son, Rodney D. Lidenberg, was born in 1950. The couple was divorced in 1972. Following the divorce, Jean continued to live in Fargo. In the spring of 2000, she moved to Mpls. to be close to her son and his family. During this time, she enjoyed being a resident at Elim Shores & Castle Ridge Manor Home, both in Eden Prairie. Despite failing health & difficult times, Jean always had a smile for everyone, earning the nickname ``Sunshine''. She will be greatly missed by her family members and many friends. May she know peace and joy in her new home. Service 10 AM, Thursday, Washburn-McReavy, Eden Prairie Chapel, 7625 Mitchell Rd. (1 block north of Hwy 5).
