Seeger Alice D. Seeger passed away peacefully on May 2, 2003 at Villa Alamar Care Home in Santa Barbara, California. She was born in Hanover, MN on July 20, 1908 to Adolph and Amelia Bursch. The Bursch family raised eight children, Alice being the second from youngest. Alice was the last surviving member of the Bursch family. The Bursch farm located on the shoreline of Hafton Lake provided fishing sites for the family and neighbors. Alice and Russell J. Seeger, her husband, lived on a farm at Beebe Lake before Russell's passing. She then moved to Robbinsdale, MN and upon retiring from employment with Lutheran Brotherhood, lived sixteen years at the Lee Square Retirement Center. Alice was a longtime member of Elim Lutheran Church. During her retirement years she enjoyed traveling with her family and friends. Alice is survived by her niece by marriage, Joy Hinn of Santa Barbara, CA; grandnephew Ronald Hinn, jr. & wife Jean of TX and grandniece Janice Hinn of CA and grandnephew David Hinn of Venezuela and five great nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Alice will be held on Friday May 9th at 11:00 AM at the Peterson Funeral Home in Buffalo MN (763- 682-1363). Internment will immediately follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Buffalo.
