Former employee of Minco Products of Fridley, MN. Survived by wife, Maralynn (nee Whisler, formerly Jones); sons, Scott (Jane) Strong, Glenwood City, WI, Chad (Katherine) Strong of Virginia; stepdaughters, Julie (James) Maiwald, Franksville, WI, El Wanda (John) Fix, Racine, WI; ; stepsons, Glen (Sheri) Jones of Wauwatosa, WI, James (Lynn) Jones of North Prairie, WI; mother-in-law, Mary Wood, Racine, WI; brothers, Earl (Vivian) Strong and Paul (Betty) Strong, all of La Crosse, WI; 14 grandchildren. Also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Elmer & Goldie Strong; his father-in-law, Paul Wood; brothers, Ray and James Strong and sister, Jean Smith. Memorial service Saturday, May 3, 4:00 pm at American Legion Hall, 200 N. Lilac Dr., Golden Valley, MN (exit off Hwy 100 at Glenwood), with Rev. Bruce Janisch officiating.
