Ault, Leola Esther Ida (Bohlmann) died Thursday, October 16, 2014 at White Pines Assisted Living and Memory Care in Fridley, Minnesota at the age of 90. Leola was born on the family farm east of Ricketts, Iowa to Rudolph and Hedwig Bohlmann. She was baptized in Christ and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hanover Township, Iowa. On May 15, 1948, Leola married Truman Elwood Ault at Zion Lutheran Church in Denison, Iowa. They eventually made their home in Bloomington, MN. Leola was a charter member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Bloom-ington. She kept active in the church, teaching Sunday school classes as well as keeping watch over the nursery-aged kids at Mothers' Bible Study on Wednesday mornings. Leola was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Truman in 2003; three brothers Ralph, Edwin and Victor Bohlmann, and her sister Estella Rahn. Survivors include her three children, Jonathan (Melanie) Ault, Jacquelyn (Roy) Smith, and Timothy (Laurie) Ault; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brother, Orville (Clara) Bohlmann of Denison, Iowa; and many other relatives and friends. Friday, Oct. 24, 9AM visitation & 10AM funeral service at St. Michael Lutheran Church, 9201 Normandale Blvd., Bloomington. Burial at Ft. Snelling at a later date. Memorials preferred to St. Michael.
