Strand, Lois Elizabeth age 91 of Mpls, passed away peacefully October 18, 2014, her 62nd wedding anniversary. Preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Strand; brother, Donald Rudd; and sister, Mavis Schaller. Survived by daughter, Cyndie (John) Hoisve; granddaughters, Katie (Dylan) Vigness and Carrie Hoisve; great-grandchildren, Sawyer and Audrey, all of Mpls; brother, Dale (Sandy) Rudd of Seattle, WA; other relatives and friends. Lois was born on February 1, 1923. She was a long time resident of Brooklyn Center and long time member of Luther Memorial Church in North Mpls. In recent years Lois resided at Augustana Health Care Center in Mpls. Lois enjoyed travel and was very active over the years in events at Luther Memorial Church and Augustana Health Care Center. Memorial service 1 PM Friday, October 24 in the chapel at Augustana Health Care Center, 1007 E. 14th St., Mpls with visitation at the chapel 1/2 hour prior to service.
