Gertrude McDonough Peterson

Peterson Gertrude McDonough Peterson, age 86, died April 22, 2003 in Minnetonka. She was born in Stillwater on April 12, 1917. She graduated from Stillwater High School and became a legal secretary. She later retired from Golden Valley Park and Recreation. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Cleva McDonough; sisters, Mary, Catherine and Rose; brothers, Elmer, Miles, John and Robert. She is survived by sons, Gordon (JoAnn), Richard, Gregory and Stephen (Susan); grandchildren, Bryan, Adam, Laura and Richard; sister, Margaret Severson; brother-in-law, Joseph Blechinger and Mary Ann Blechinger; sisters-in-law, Mary McDonough and Ruth Andrews; nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, April 25, 2003 (11:00 AM) at ST. MICHAEL'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 611 South 3rd Street, Stillwater. Visitation one hour prior at the church atrium.
