Bette Lou (Nelson) Wiesner

Wiesner Bette Lou Wiesner (nee Nelson), age 78, of Bloomington, MN, passed away on April 21, 2003. Born July 31, 1924 in Halstad, MN. Preceded in death by husband, H. Bidwell (Buz) Wiesner and sister-in-law, Sally Wiesner Burnson. Survived by sister-in-law, Elizabeth Wiesner Giardino; sons, Boak of Delano, MN and Barnaby (Andrea) of Minneapolis, MN; daughter, Merry (Neil) Wiesner-Hanks of Mequon, WI; grandsons, Kai and Tyr Wiesner-Hanks of Mequon, WI, and devoted cat, Henry. Attended Minneapolis School of Art, worked retail advertising in Minneapolis and Norfolk, VA. Lifelong member Central Lutheran Church (confirmed 1938, married 1947). Member Bloomington Women's Club, Minneapolis Institute of Art. Interment Fort Snelling. Memorial Service Friday, 11 AM at Central Lutheran Church, 333 South 12th Street, Mpls. Memorials preferred to the church or Planned Parenthood. She told us to pass this along: "Please don't wear black to my funeral."
