Olson Goldie J., age 83, of S. Mpls. Retired teacher for the hearing impaired for over 30 years with the Mpls. Public Schools. Preceded in death by her husband, Gottfred; sisters, Violet Rodriguez and Hazel Olson. Survived by her daughter, Sharon (Bob) Heiberg; son, Doug (Debbie) Olson; grandchildren, Eric (Stephanie), Mark (Amy) and Maren Heiberg, Jay (Rachel), Robb and Brittany Olson; great-granddaughter, Samantha Heiberg; brothers, Iver (Edith), Morris (Arlene), and Roger (Marilyn) Johnson; sisters, Gloria Nupson and Susan (Monte) Brown; many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday 5-7 PM at the Washburn-McReavy Edina, 50th St. & Vernon Ave. at Hwy. 100, Edina. Memorial service Friday 11 AM at Edgewater Baptist Church, 5501 Chicago Ave. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. If so desired, memorials are preferred to Edgewater Baptist Church.
