Nelson Elsie Octavia Nelson. Born in Long Prairie, MN April 26, 1919. Survived by daughters, Janice Born & Phyllis LeClaire; son-in-law, Hal LeClaire; grandchildren, Laura Larsen, Richard Larsen & Jamie Holm; great-grandchildren, Danielle & Christopher Payne; many cousins, nieces, nephews & special friends. She was preceded in death by husband, Arthur; parents, Hjalmer & Mary Sternquist; father, Oscar Flyckt; brother, Ivan Sternquist; sisters, Irene Hoyt & Bernice Teetzel. Retired from Honeywell after 30 years. She enjoyed her family, friends, travel, music and cooking. Special thanks to nursing staff and caregivers at Abbott Northwestern, Bethesda Rehab. Center & Walker Methodist Health Care for the wonderful care she received the last 2 years of her life. Elsie was a very devoted mother & a loyal friend to many. Service Wednesday 11 am, Walker Home Chapel, 37th & Bryant Ave. S. Visitation one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to her favorite charity, The Cancer Society.
