Barbara Ellingson

Ellingson Barbara Ellingson, 60, of Aitkin and formerly of Minneapolis, died Tuesday, April 15, 2003 as a result of injuries from a vehicle accident. She was born April 30, 1942 in Minneapolis to John H. and Dora McBroom. She graduated from North High School, Minneapolis. She was co-owner and vice-president of Components Group in Minneapolis for 26 years. She was a CPM Representative, and a Licensed Real Estate Broker. Barbara was employed by Coldwell Banker Beacon Realty Ltd. in Garrison and was a member of the Greater Lakes Association of Realtors, St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Deerwood and St. James Catholic Church, Aitkin. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and grandchild, Justin. She is survived by husband, E. Paul Ellingson of Crosby; three daughters, Kimberly (Kirk) Pape of Rochester, Lesley (Chris) Arnold of Aitkin and Lynn Roettele of Aitkin; two grandchildren, Cody and Austin Pape; one brother, John (Mary) McBroom of Maple Grove. Visitation will be one hour prior to the 12 Noon Funeral Service Monday in St. James Catholic Church, Aitkin. Fr. Paul Fruth will officiate. Arrangements are by Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home, Aitkin.
