Tremont Joseph George Tremont, age 77, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away 4-15-2003 of heart and lung failure. Born 6-4-1925 in Minneapolis. Retired Operations Mgr. of Chicago Northwestern RR. Preceded in death by his parents, Giuseppe and Regalia Tremont (Trimonti); brothers, James, Frank, Angelo, George; sister, Frances; wife, Marie L.; son, Robert L.; sisters-in-law, Lauretta and Marge; brother-in-law, Stanley Sr.; niece, Sandra and nephew, Stanley Jr. Survived by grandson, Robin E. Tremont (LA); granddaughter, Julie A. Tremont (Denver); niece, Angela Faye T. Chovan (David) (Eagan); nephew, Joseph F. Tremont (St. Paul); nieces, Sherry Gaertner (Burnsville), Susan Greupner (Jared) (Eagan). Also survived by 4 grandnieces, 1 grandnephew, 3 great-grandnephews and 1 great-grandniece. Services in Las Vegas 4-25-2003. Holy Mass 10 AM at Guardian Angel. Burial 1:20 PM at VA Cemetery of Southern Nevada. Gathering in later afternoon, Las Vegas, to be announced. Memorials to Catholic Charities. "Not knowing how to give less than all of himself, Joe was an intensely passionate man about a great many things...his God, his family, his work, his sports, especially golf...not always in that order."
