Marian M. (Lenz) Sorum

Sorum Marian M. (nee Lenz), born December 9, 1917, passed away peacefully with family at her side on September 21, 2004. Preceded in death by husband, Wesley B. Sorum; sisters, Ruth Hendricks and Marge Scheid, and granddaughter, Laurie Kisch. Survived by brother, Harold Lenz, and children, Joyce (Bob) Kisch, Janet (Harland) Urevig, James (Diane) Sorum and Jacqueline Lian. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, Vicki (Jeff) Meister, David (Rebecca) Kisch, Timothy (Theresa) Kisch, Stephen (Diane) Kisch, Paul (Mary) Urevig, Lisa (Don) Sutliff, Karin (Dan) Kuntz, Skip (Tracy) Heagle, Polly (Steve) Willhite, Eric Elverhoy, Jennifer (Chad) Herron, Allison (Jamie) Lindman, Andrew Sorum. Also survived by 26 great-grandchildren, Samantha, Jessica and Emily Meister, Katie, Allison, Joshua, Trevor and Alex Kisch, James and Jackie Winsor, Brittany Helcl, Jacob, Luke, Liam and Killian Urevig, Zachary Kuntz, Robby, Brooke, Cassie and Courtney Heagle, Becky, Aaron, Chris, Robby and Rachel Willhite, and Charlie Herron. SPECIAL THANKS to Presbyterian Homes in Inver Grove Heights for assisted living, and to the HealthEast Hospice group for care and help for the whole family. A memorial service to celebrate Marian's life will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2004 at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, 1575 Charlton Street, West St. Paul at 1 PM with refreshments to follow.
