Duran, Helen C. age 82, of Mpls., passed away Sept. 28. Preceded in death by her husband, Melvin; 3 brothers, Milan, John and Jerry; 2 sisters, Anne and Eleanor. Survived by 3 daughters, Kimberly (Todd) Hatherly, Kathleen (Jerry) Hansen and Karen (Joseph) DeCort; 8 grandchildren, Tyler, Katelyn, Trevor, Jacob, Nicholas, Lucas, Joseph and John; 2 sisters, Adeline and Ruth Chovancek. Funeral service Friday, Oct. 3, 2014 at 10 AM at the Lakewood Chapel, 3600 Hennepin Ave S., Mpls., with visitation one hour before the service. Burial to follow.
