Stevens Elizabeth "Toots" Holmberg, age 85, long time resident of Deephaven passed away at home April 7th. A graduate of Northrop Collegiate School and Pine Manor College, she was employed by the interior design firm Humphrey and Hardenbergh and was active in various organizations including the Junior League, Big Sisters, the Red Cross, the American Cancer Society and the United Way. Preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert; parents, George Clarence & Bessie McNaught Holmberg. Survived by daughter, Lisa Stevens & her husband, Jeffrey Hatcher; grandson, Evan Stevens Hatcher, all of Shorewood; niece, Mary (Earl) Lillydahl of Milwaukee, WI; nephews, Robert Stevens of ID, Thomas Gilbert Stevens of AK and John (Judy) Stevens of Wausau, WI; goddaughters, Louise Cash Palmer of Denver, CO and Katherine Elliott of Seattle, WA,. Memorial service Friday, 2 pm, with visitation 1/2 hour before at the Lakewood Cemetery Chapel, 36th and Hennepin Ave S, Mpls. Interment Lakewood Cemetery.
