Violette, Fern A. Age 100, lifelong resident of NE Minneapolis on September 26. Preceded in death by husband, George G. Sr. Survived by daughters, Sharon Frankenfield, Linda Ojile (Michael), Mary Jo Ready; son, George G. Jr. (Mary Kay); brother George Vandersluis; 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; extended family and many friends. Many thanks to Fern's caregivers and the staff at Catholic Eldercare, and special thanks to Sue Garski for her dedicated volunteer service and friendship. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 AM, October 6 with gathering 1 hour prior to service at St. Anthony of Padua Chapel, 817 Main St. NE, Minneapolis. Private interment.
