Gurule Maria M., age 86, of Maranatha Christian Care Center in Brooklyn Center, on April 4, 2003. Preceded in death by husband, Henry; 3 sons, Ernest, Joseph & Samuel; her parents. Survived by loving daughter, Virginia "Jinny" (Donn) Erickson; son, Manuel Montoya; grandchildren, Brian (Sam), James (Tina), Dean, Juanita, Tina, Debbie, Ted, Carlos, Albert; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Christian, Madison, Caitlin. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday,10:30 AM at the Church of St. Alphonsus, 7025 Halifax Ave. N., Brooklyn Center. Interment Mound Cemetery in Brooklyn Center. Visitation Monday, 6-8 PM, with rosary recited at 7 PM at Werness Brothers Funeral Chapel, 3500 W. 50th St., Mpls. and also 1 hr prior to Mass at the church. Memorials preferred to the American Diabetes Association & to the West Side Health Clinic c/o Dr. Gloria Garcia. The family would like to thank Dr. Garcia of the West Side Health Clinic and the staff at Maranatha Christian Care Center for their loving care of Maria.
