Kimber Ronelva Margaret of Spring Park, formerly of Minnewashta Manor, Edina and Streator, IL, died on April 4, 2003. Survived by sister, Esther Grant; sons, Roger (Eileen) and Bill (Carly); granddaughter, Cheryl Mahowald (Mark); grandsons, Doug (Sarah), Kevin (Lara), Kristofer (fiancee, Lyndsey Davis), Ken (Meghan); great-granddaughter, Ana Noelle and great-grandsons, Aaron (Jennifer) & Alex and Colden Kimber and Matthew and Mark Robert Mahowald; great-great-granddaughters, Kiersten Martin and Lexy Kimber and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by mother, Margaret Lundberg; father, Knute Lundberg and brother, Albert Lundberg. Ronnie was made in Sweden, born in Streator, IL on April 18, 1915. She became a teacher, retiring after her marriage to Arthur Kimber on June 1, 1935. Later she returned to work in school administration,lead in community affairs like the March of Dimes, Junior Matrons and Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. She enjoyed people, gardening, golf, parties, Scrabble, crosswords, bowling and Christmas letters. She amazed everybody with her creativity, memory for broad concepts and tiny details, smiling disposition, cognent counsel and wry sense of humor. She treated all with love and respect. For God so loved her as did we all. Memorial services at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 301 Cty Rd 19, Excelsior, MN April 7, 2003 @ 11 AM. Interment services in Streator, IL Wednesday, April 9, 2003 @ 11 AM after reviewal @ Hagi Funeral Home, 205 High St. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Mount Calvary Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or Presbyterian Homes.
