Hayes Buford, age 84 of Bloomington, on March 29, 2002. Preceded in death by mother, Mary; and brothers, Ray and Dick. Survived by loving wife, Ruth; sons, Kirk (Cynthia Newsom) and Ray; daughter-in-law, Vanne Owens-Hayes; grandchildren, April, Christopher (Betty), Darren (Dana) and Christian; great-granddaughter, Mykayla; sisters, Helen Washington and Nora Herring; and other relatives and friends. Funeral service at LUTHERAN CHURCH OF THE REDEEMER, 285 N. Dale St., St. Paul, on Thursday 4-4-02 at 11 AM. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
