Wolfe John A., age 78, passed away March 26, 2002. He was born on July 29, 1923 in Boise, Idaho. After serving in the Navy as a radar officer, he joined the staff at Honeywell as an electrical engineer in the aerospace division and generated more than 100 US patents in his 30+ year career. John's pre-retirement life spanned the country living in Roseville, San Diego, Boston and Edina. Post-retirement, John and Sue moved to Bloomington. He is survived by wife, Suzanne; sister, Elizabeth (John) Mather; 3 children, Richard (Susan), Joan Colbert (John) and Steven (Debbie); and many loving relatives and friends. John's health has been declining for the past few years, but his attitude, tranquility, and love for his family has shined through diversity. As a grandfather of 6, Elka Folmer (Bruce), Jason, Rebecca, Allison, Matt & Brad; his wife, children and their own will greatly missed him. Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at a memorial service 10:00 AM Saturday (visitation 9-10 AM) at Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave S., Edina.
