Survived by wife, Gwen; stepchildren, Sam Strickler (Mary), Tammy Chavez (Martin), Jeanie Krotz (Buzz), Tom Strickler (Shannon), Rose Wehland (Joe), Dawn Johnson; 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Orval (Vivian); many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral service 11 am Friday at Woodcrest Baptist Church, 6875 University Ave., Fridley. Visitation one hour prior to service at the church and 5-8 pm Thursday at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, 1827 Coon Rapids Blvd., Coon Rapids. Interment Lakewood Cemetery.
