Sandberg Attn: United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners of America Local 0087 Jack E. Sandberg, 67, of River Falls, Wisconsin, died March 15, 2002, at his home. The son of Oscar and Esther (Ellingson) Sandberg, he was born January 26, 1935, in River Falls. He graduated from River Falls High School in 1953. Over his 30+ years as a carpenter, Jack built homes and commercial buildings. He belonged to the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America Local 0087, and retired from Adolfson and Peterson. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and an active Mason, belonging to Lodge #109 F & AM of Wisconsin. On January 30, 1996 he was selected as Mason of the Year. Mr. Sandberg was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sons, Mark (Karen) Sandberg of River Falls, Wisconsin; David (Dana) Sandberg of Oakdale, Minnesota; brother, Roy (Evie) Sandberg of Derwood, Maryland; stepsister, Helen Sorenson of Hayden, Idaho; grandchildren, Justin, Logan and Krista Sandberg; nieces, Ellen (Hans) Raabe of New Market, Maryland; Jill (David) Ward of Mt. Airy, Maryland and nephew, Jay (Gina) Sandberg of Willow Street, Pennsylvania. A visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, March 20 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Cashman Mortuary in River Falls. There will be a Masonic Service at 7:30 pm.
