Robert N. Wachsmuth

Wachsmuth Robert N., age 69, of Columbia Heights, passed away on March 12, 2002. Bob was widely-known in the industry as ``Bartender Bob,'' the last 30 years at Mr. Bob's in Crystal; Holiday Inn-Shoreview; and retired from Hampton Inn, Green Mill, Shoreview. 25-year member of the Masonic Lodge #19, Mpls. Past President, Arden Hills, Shoreview Rotary Club. Recipient of Paul Harris Fellowship Award, 1995. Preceded in death by parents, Eugene & Louise; son, Alan; grandchildren, Joshua and Amanda; brother, Eugene; son-in-law, John Burgoon. Survived by loving wife & faithful companion, Beverly (Dahl); sons, Robert E. (Sandy), Michael J., Jeffrey (DeAnna) Dahl; daughters, Audrey M. Nelson, Katherine Wachsmuth, Kimberly A. Wetterlind (Rich), Peggy A. Wachsmuth, Theresa M. Burgoon (Joseph Suess) and Susan L. Nelson (Dan); 24 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Erline); sister, Elaine (Dick) Dehn; many loving relatives and friends. Funeral service 1 pm Saturday at First Lutheran Church of Columbia Heights, 1555 40th Ave NE, with visitation one hour prior to service at church. Visitation Friday, 5-8 pm at the Washburn-McReavy Columbia Heights Chapel, 4101 Central Ave NE. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to family. Interment Hillside Cemetery.
