McGarry Donna DeWitt McGarry, age 60, of Edina, passed away April 1, 2003. A loving friend and companion to her husband, Robert Thomas. Unconditional love and a nurturing spirit guided her three children; Megan Brinkman (Mark), Robert Jr.. (Joanne) and Mark. A grandmother whose world became an endless orbit around grandchildren, Jack, Katlyn, Quinn, Molly and Benjamin. Survived by mother, Anne. She was one of a beautiful bouquet of Wildflowers, a member of the Desperate Book Club and the Magnificent Eight Ladies Plus One. The first half of her life was devoted to raising her children and her love of writing. Always looking for ways to give of herself she became an advocate of women in need as a director of CHART Careers Program. This led to a position with International Multifoods as a Manager, Informational Systems, Organizational Change. An independent spirit moved her to start up DeWitt Ink, a management consulting firm. She also spent the last 11 years as an adjunct professor in the University of St. Thomas' EMBA Program. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Funeral service Monday 10:00am at St. Joan of Arc Church, 4537-3rd Ave. S. in Minneapolis. Visitation is from 4 to 7 pm on Sunday at Washburn-McReavy Funeral Chapel, W. 50th and Hwy 100 in Edina.
