Maisel, Geraldine "Gerri" Age 76, of Golden Valley, passed away on September 19, 2014. Gerri is preceded by parents, Gertrude and Dick Gotesman; husband, Harvey Hymes; son, Scott Hymes; and daughter, Jill Rotman. She is survived by husband, Stan Maisel; daughter, Judy Laner (Dr. Joel Cornfield); stepsons, Greg Maisel (Darla), Bob Maisel (Bella); son-in-law, L.J. Rotman; sister, Sandy Rutzick (Jim); and five grandchildren, Carly Rotman, Abby and Scott Laner, and Nate and Jake Maisel; loving nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and her family meant the world to her. Funeral service SUNDAY 10 AM, TEMPLE ISRAEL, 2324 Emerson Ave. S., Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers, Gerri's family prefers memorials to Temple Israel, Hymes Scholorship Fund or donor's favorite charity.
