Prazniak, John, Jr. age 96, passed away on Sept. 7, 2014. John was a long-time resident of Columbia Heights and a retired librarian whose last position was at the Central Ave. Branch Lib-rary. He was also a World War II veteran who served in the South Pacific. He was preceded in death by wife, Alberta. A memorial service will be at 11:00 am Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014 at Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church, 1509 27th Ave. NE, (612) 789-7256. There will be a light lunch served following the service.
