Inman, Dr. Lawrence Lloyd 94, (8/14/20 to 9/2/14) was born in Olwein, Iowa and died in Phoenix, Arizona. He earned a Forestry degree at Iowa State University. During WWII & Korean War, he served as a pilot. At the Univ of MN, he received his Ph.D. in Plant Genetics. Larry was a professor in Africa and the Middle East. Next he farmed near Danvers, MN. For the American Chestnut Foundation he helped plan a breeding program. When he retired, he moved to Willmar and enjoyed dancing at the senior center. Larry is survived by three siblings (Vivian Pruckler, Warren and Ronald Inman). He was predeceased by his daughter Katharine Van Duerm, but survived by his children Philip Inman, Elizabeth Van Zee, Barbara Kuntz, and Cynthia Inman. Burial services will be held in Olwein at a later date
