Theis Robert E., age 51, of Carver, unexpectedly while scuba diving on vacation with his family in Cozumel, Mexico. Survived by wife, Marjorie; daughter, Amy; son, Byron, all of Carver; brothers, Harry, of Prior Lake, Mike, of Grand Rapids; sisters, Mary Anita (John) Wheatley, of Bemidji, Lill (Charlie) Abeln, of Shakopee, Lois (Chuck) Steinbauer, of Brainerd, Rosie (Ernie) Chalekson, of Manhattan Beach, CA, Joanie (Gary) Schneider, of Duluth, Judy Theis, of Shakopee, Karen Theis, of Mpls., Terry Hassan, of Shakopee; uncle, Eldred Stocker, of Jordan; many nieces & nephews. Visitation Thursday 4-8 PM at the Bertas Funeral Home, 200 W. 3rd St., Chaska, and one hour prior to service at the church. Funeral Service Friday 11 AM at East Union Lutheran Church, 15180 Co.
