Dietrich, Mary Ann age 83, of Plymouth, MN, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014 Born Oct. 20, 1930 in Mpls. to Sarah and Roy Kammerer. Attended Ascension Elementary school, St. Margaret's Academy high school and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a major degree in Bio-statistics and a minor in Math. When all her children were in school Mary Ann went back for her Nursing degree. She worked at Abbott Northwestern Hospital as a registered nurse for 18 years. After retiring Mary Ann and husband Edward spent summers at their cabin in Annandale and enjoyed many winters in Mexico. Survived by Edward, her husband of 61 years and children, Marie (Robert), John (Elizabeth), William (Jeanne), Nancy (Dom), Joanne (Greg) and Thomas; grandchildren, Monica, Michael (Lauren), Maxwell, Mark, Nicholas, Samantha, Jacob, Rachel, Emma; brothers, James Kammerer (Nancy) and Robert Kammerer (Leslie); along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by brothers "Jack" and Thomas Kammerer. A special thanks to the North Memorial hospice team and Crystal Care Center for all their help. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Monday, Sept. 22 at Parish Community of St. Joseph Catholic Church, 8701 36th Ave N., New Hope, MN 55427. Visitation is one hour prior to Mass at church. A private interment at Ft. Snelling Cemetery.
