Shoemaker, Kenton Roy Age 67 of Crystal, passed away suddenly, September 15, 2014. Kent was born July 6, 1947 in Minneapolis, and is a graduate of Patrick Henry High School. He is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Shoemaker; and mother and step-father, Naomi and Norm Burkenstock. He is survived by his mom, Dianne Shoemaker; daughter, Inger (Wade) Tempesta; granddaughters, Brooke & Drew Tempesta; daughter, Britt Kjellberg; grandson, Clayton & granddaughter Tatum Kjellberg; sisters, Kay (Marv) Rorvick & Patti (Ron) Jolin; brother, Joel (Seong-Hak) Shoemaker; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is a retired member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners of America, Local #68. A patron member of the NRA, Kent was an avid hunter and gun collector, he was never happier than when he could talk "guns" with someone, or regale you with an epic hunting tale.
