Kodadek Helen Louise Kodadek (Nee Schuster), of South Minneapolis, in her 86th year. Born July 26, 1917; died on March 26, 2003. Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend and volunteer. Preceded in death by husband George R. Kodadek, Attorney. Survived by four children, Mary Kay (Patrick) O'Neill, Patty (Jerry) Maher, Jim (Nancy) Kodadek, and Paul Kodadek; also survived by her grandchildren who have many happy memories of "Grammy" especially at her lake home: Sean (Sharon) O'Neill, Tim (Nikki) Maher, Susan (Tom) Vik, Paula Maher, Mike Maher, Ben Kodadek, and Jesse Kodadek; her great-grandchildren who brought her special joy, Roxanne Gonzalez, Emma Vik, Quinlan Maher and his brother who is soon to be born. Helen's warmth and kindness will long be remembered by her family as well as many friends. Her volunteer activities included work at Annunciation Parish, St. Mary's Hospital, Girl Scouts and Mt. Olivet Care Center. The family wishes to express their loving gratitude to all the gentle and dedicated staff at NC Little Hospice with special thanks to Rhonda. Mass of Christian Burial Monday 11:00 A.M. at The Church of the Annunciation, 54th St. & Harriet Ave S. Visitation Sunday 1-4 at Gill Brothers Southwest Chapel, 5801 Lyndale Ave S. and 1 hr. prior to Mass at church. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery.
