Owens, Charmaine Mavourneen Age 74, of Minneapolis, passed away in peace Sept 14, 2014. Charmaine was the beloved wife of Joseph Owens for 42 wonderful years, and the devoted and loving mother of Joseph and David Owens. Preceded in death by parents Oscar and Sue Vare, and sister Yvonne Tallerico. Survived by many loving extended family members and dear friends. She taught ESL for some forty years, 6 years in Los Angeles, and then 34 in Mpls., primarily at Lyndale Elementary. She loved her work, she loved her students, and she was richly rewarded by the enhancement she brought about in their lives. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, 5 PM at the Church of St. Joan of Arc, 4537 3rd Ave So with visitation beginning at 4 PM. In-terment Friday at Lakewood Cemetery.
